Lingering uncertainty as to whether the Greeks will get an adequate bailout to restore confidence in their markets and banks, as well as a startling decline in Chinese equities values, have created a tremendous amount of macro uncertainty in the currency world over the past few weeks: that’s an uncertainty cryptocurrencies were effectively *designed* to benefit from as they are superior ways of transferring wealth across borders, in any amount, at any time.

  1. Dropped formidably since this video was made. $1000 ain't gonna happen again, and dude you seriously need to find something else to do with your day. Bitcoin is volatile seven days a week.

  2. Hey David, good to see you're still making videos!

Everything you said plus, I don't know if you heard about this on Reddit but. There was a story I read about how Visa will no longer service Backpage.com. The reason is because there is a section on backpage where escorts can buy ads to solicit clients. Strange as it may sound, that's good news for crypto because Backpage now accepts Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin.

So the escorts and everyone else who advertises on backpage are now forced to buy/accept and use crypto in order to pay for their advertising. Backpage is nationwide and very popular so there was a large influx of cash driving up the price. Thank you Visa! 🙂

Also, are you still holding Vertcoin? I am.. It just recently moved into 30th place from like 79th or something. Wish I would have bought allot more when it was cheaper than dirt. I'm also holding Doge and I'm looking very closely at Namecoin. Looks like a promising privacy platform. What do you think?
