  1. Lawsky is completely and totally captured, the banks, the big banks are literally his masters. What he does, his job, is to insure that the LARGEST money launderers in global finance, that any competition that bitcoin represents to their money laundering operations will be nipped in the bud with special regulations. Money laundering is a GIGANTIC global banking enterprise and the profits from money laundering DWARF any other profits the big banks can realize, so Lawsky is literally tasked with insuring the banks, as he says quite clearly in this snippet … that he wants to assure the big banks that bitcoin will not see a large share of the illegal money laundering industry.

It's brazen, Lawsky is simply brazen in these statements because his masters are the wealthiest most powerful people on the planet. Remember, Lawsky's job is to make sure the BANKS do not launder money, but he tells us openly here that he is striving to ASSURE those that he regulates, the most wealthy and powerful that he regulates that their illegal money laundering profits are SAFE from bitcoin.
