  1. Hey wanna know the only good way to make money using bitcoins?
Bitcoin is a pyramid scheme. If you were in from the start you are rich. Never mine bitcoin, it's too late. Remember that anyone who has bitcoins make a profit if you start beliving all the "new currency" bullshit. It's a bubble.

Search the web for potential new coins. previously litecoin, darkcoin and dogecoin would have been good examples. You need to be in EARLY. Mine for a while with your GPU, you should be getting thousands of coins. Dump them and buy bitcoin (and sell them, they're going down too) as soon as they are put up on an exchange.

I mined dogecoin overnight, and made about $70, with a nvidia GPU even. That's much better than even really expensive asics. Of course it requires some work and luck, but in the end much less than mining bitcoin.

  2. You said you had to plug in the raspberry to the modem, I have a wifi adapter for my desktop. Could I possibly just run the ethernet cable into my desktop and use it as a throughput for internet running straight into the raspberry?
