This Mining Rig is running the Raspberry Pi rev B. Software: MinePeon is the OS running CGminer. It pulls around 12 Watts and mines at sustained 9.2+ GH/s. Now I’ve added 400+ GHz on CEX.IO: https://cex.io/r/0/bigstud4ubaby/0/ Less than /GHz and they host for you, maintenance comes out of what you mine, try it!

  1. Hi Chris, I have a Rasberry Pi with MinePeon running a couple Antminer U2 USB's. Works great.. I have another hub and another PI I would like to use to run one or more of the bitfury twin chips, (yours are the single chip)? however I can not seem to get it working right.. Can you Host or send out an image of your Pi's card and or mention the best way to get it configured? All the minepeon info I have found mentions other usb set ups but not the twin chip…  It looks like yours are the single chip ones, so I'm not sure if the same configuration would work…

  2. So with about 9.2 GH/s how much bitcoins do you make in about a month? I'm fairly new, and I actually am thinking about going in super noob with only 1 GH/s and adding more hash later on.
So please tell me how much you make with about 9.2 GH/s and then tell me how much you would guess I could make with only 1 GH/s… (Also, don't include power bills and price of equipment. I'm not interested in making profit as of now. I just wanna make some money.)

  3. Those bitfury miners must be pulling more that 12W each if your 2A power supply gets hot.

There is always loss when converting AC to DC.  Buy one of those KILLaWATT plugs that show you EXACTLY how many watts your rig actually draws.
